Sony have this cool new camera with the "sweep" Feature. If you can imagine a row of twenty people posing to get a group picture,  you hold the camera up to take a shot and can only see five people. Problem ?? No... Simply move the camera from left to right or right to left, as if to scan across all the people, hey presto you have taken a panoramic picture with all twenty people in the shot. Thanks Asain people you did it again.

Halo 4: Master Chief Sings

If you don't Know who Master_Chief is you must have been under a rock for the past few years.Master_Chief is the main character from the mega smash hit First-person_shooter Halo. Bungie have taken a softer approach to Halo with this lovely set of songs. A mellow blend of music that can bring Master Chief and Cortana together on those cozy nights.

I have to admit I am getting excited about getting my IPad at The_Westchester Mall this weekend.
I hope I will be happy with it, I hope my cat plays with it like the cat on Youtube. I hope my wrists wont get sore from typing on the flat screen, if they do I hope it wont be sore for long. I wonder what Steve_Jobs will spend my $600.00 on. I hope he buys some new Polo necks and old man jeans. Thanks Steve.

Crazy Kobe Bryant fan on news!!

Short and Sweet NYC

My friend Dave who's friend is called Dave Lipp is the CEO and Managing Editor of the blog We got chatting today for a while about our blogs and stuff and hopfully I can get some good advise.
Compiled by people who have been there, they are dedicated to bringing you daily listings of music and events paired with food and drink in NYC, and all within walking distance of each other. Not just THE place to find out about interesting events, they are also addicted to turning you on to great music, food, bars, booze, and all the fun stuff that you're looking to do in NYC. Most of all, at Short and Sweet NYC, all of our reviews are just that, short and sweet. Who wants to read a thesis when you just want to know the facts?

Chillwave Music

So there is a big buzz about the new genre in music called "Chillwave". To me basically it is the fact that so called indie bands have become so successful and popular that there needs to be an underground form of music that is totally independant. Myself and Craig who is a music producer in Brooklyn had a wee chat today about it and we where trying to pinpoint the term "Chillwave" So here it is and a tune by Toro Y Moi to help make sense of it all.
Chillwave (also referred to as glo-fi) is a term used to describe a genre of post-music that emerged when some guy with access to the internet invented a new word. It is characterized by heavy use of effects processingsynthesizersloopingsampling, and heavily filtered vocals with simple melodic lines. Its musical predecessors include the synthpop of the 1980s, shoegaze[1]ambient, and various types of world music. Chillwave is notably different from those influences because it often produced by outsider musicians recording in home studios.[1]
The term was coined in July 2009 by Carles, creator of the blog Hipster Runoff.[2] In a post about Washed Out, Carles listed many potential names, including "no-fi" and "ChillHouse" but decided on "Chillwave" as most representative of the sound of artists such as Washed Out.[3]
It has been suggested that chillwave is a response to 2008's day-glo scene, which was characterized by more aggressive club music.[4]
Some of the early chillwave albums include Universal Studios Florida's Ocean Sunbirds, Big Spider's Back's Warped, Nite Jewel's Good Evening. Other bands of the genre include Neon IndianMemory Tapes, Blissed Out, By Bye Blackbird, MillionYoung, Small Black, The Pillars Of Creation, Chill Murray, Chill Pullman, Ducktails, LoneToro Y MoiWashed Out, Lester Brown, Soft Slip, and Corona Lite.[1][4]
Phil Thomas Katt is considered to be the 'godfather of chillwave.' Influences can be clearly heard on the 1993 album, "Curious."

Am60 - Just a dream

Chris Root first became well-known as a member of The Mosquitos in the United States. In 2001, he formed the group A.M. Sixty, which became a phenomenon in the United Kingdom after Root sent UK labels some of his demos. His single, "Just a Dream", hit the UK charts and resulted in A.M. Sixty doing a Peel Session. The song "just a dream" is now featured on a schwinn bicycle commercial

Mr Miyagi

If Mr Miyagi adopted me these things would probably happen.......

My parents would be sad.
I would eat a lot of flied lice.
I could learn how to speak mandarin.
I wouldn't be able to say chink or Nip.
I could learn how to wax a lot of stuff.
I know how to paint so I wouldn't need to paint the fence.
I would live in China probably.
I could make head bands for my new father.
I could probably start a new business of some sort.
Maybe I could adopt a panda bear.
I might grow a goaty like my new father.
I could harvest bamboo.

These are but a few things that might happen if I was adopted by

Cold War Kids - Hospital Beds

Probably my favorite song from the 2007 album Robbers & Cowards from Cold War Kids, but it is hard to pick the best song from one of the best albums in that year. Role out with your pole out !

Porn For The Blind ?

Well I guess the phrase "touch yourself and you'll go blind" is pretty useless in this situation. Even the blind have to pull there wires too I suppose. Go on the wire pullers !!

Harlem - 'Friendly Ghost'

Harlem had rave reviews from SXSW this year and it would do your mother proud if you bought the track Friendly Ghost for only 99cent. Come on cheap bastards.

After the MSwalk I wanted to have some live music to entertain us while we sucked down some sauce so I enlisted Anna Troy (without her band) and she was great. Blusey rocky souly kinda stuff, extremely talented. She is playing tomorrow night in"> at 7.30pm and rumor has it record execs will be there spotting talent so I wouldn't be surprised if you here more from Anna Troy.

This Is Apple's Next iPhone

You are looking at Apple's next iPhone. Some egit  lost it in a bar in Redwood City, camouflaged to look like an iPhone 3GS.  It's the real thing, and here are all the details.

What's new

• Front-facing video chat camera
• Improved regular back-camera (the lens is quite noticeably larger than the iPhone 3GS)
• Camera flash
• Micro-SIM instead of standard SIM (like the iPad)
• Improved display. It's unclear if it's the 960x640 display thrown around before—it certainly looks like it, with the "Connect to iTunes" screen displaying much higher resolution than on a 3GS.
• What looks to be a secondary mic for noise cancellation, at the top, next to the headphone jack
• Split buttons for volume
• Power, mute, and volume buttons are all metallic

Me and Molly

This is me and Molly on the Brooklyn Bridge with Brecken giving the Horns Up.............
Only for Molly I wouldn't be able to do all the things I can do today, even though some times I want to batter her I'm sure she would like to batter me twice as much. Thanks for doing all the things you do for me Molly. I love you !
( You could do a little more laundry, That would be great too)

MS Walk team

This is the team of crack commandos I managed to get to skip mass and get up out of bed on Sunday morning at eight  to do a six mile walk.

Siobhan (Monaghan)

The King      (ARDEE)
Caso     (Monaghan)
Ryan (Rockland County)
Trevor (ARDEE)
Colleen (Rockland County)
Molly (Chicago) takin the picture

Thank you all for doing the walk my minions !!!

Show me the airgead

For a couple of weeks before the walk I was annoying people looking for sponsorship money and I managed to get the guts of one thousand dollars which is a little shitty but it's better than a face full of feces I guess.

MS Walk 2010

Yesterday was the MS Walk 2010 which is basically a six mile walk to raise awareness about the disease and to raise money to go towards research to find a cure and to help people suffering from the disease.
I'd say there was probably five thousand people at least that did the walk. You choose either a six or a three mile walk, we choose the six mile walk which brought us across the Brooklyn Bridge and back.

Mgmt- Congratulations

MGMT burst onto the music scene in 2006 after signing with Columbia records. The Brooklyn-based band is most popularly known for the hits, “Kids” and “Time to Pretend” off their debut album, “Oracular Spectacular.”
MGMT was such a success that they were nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy in 2010. Now, their second album, “Congratulations,” is gaining lots of publicity. Thank god they seem to have changed there style a little bit on the new album, less commercial  / more better. I know it's not good grammer but whatever.

Dandy Warhols-Not if you were the last junkie on earth

Often compared to the druggy psychedelic pop of the Velvet Underground, the Dandy Warhols do possess more than just a passing resemblance to Lou Reed and company at times, but elements of such modern rockers as Love and Rockets and Ride can be detected in their sound as well. Formed in Portland, OR, during 1994, the Dandy Warhols consist of members Courtney Taylor (vocals, guitar), Zia McCabe (keyboards), Peter Holmstrom (guitar), and Eric Hedford (drums), who signed on with the independent label Tim/Kerr shortly after their formation. In 1995 came the release of the quartet's debut release, Dandy's Rule OK?, and while other rock bands may be a bit hesitant to spell out their influences, the Dandy Warhols decided to openly advertise it, as the album contained such song titles as "Lou Weed" and "Ride."
