chris-burden, (born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1946) is an American artist working in performance, sculpture, and installation art. This is his latest project called metropolis ii. It features about 1200 toy cars
( DINKY's to your average paddy ) on huge magnetic conveyor belts. The project has been sold already and will go for several million dollars. It will take roughly three months to put it all in box's.
